A self help book for busy people, which also exposes modern-day mind myths promoted by the self-help industry. Professor Wiseman is a psychologist who has done proper research and describes quick and quirky techniques to support rapid change that help people achieve their aims and ambitions. I have just started on this but the little i have done so far seems to be working.

This book is about invoking the law of attraction by regularly gathering together with a circle of friends to state your intentions regarding your life and what you wish to have and achieve for your self and others and to state those intentions daily. I like the idea of “intending” as intending means I am going to do something about it. As in “today I intend to say my 10 intentions.” Or today I intend to do three acts of kindness. (so far I’ve done 1 or 2 if I count tending to my neglected African Violet)
